Székesfehérvár Ballet Theater
Founded on 1 August 2018, the contemporary ballet company is an integral part of Székesfehérvár's cultural scene and plays a key role in the region's cultural life, building the city's reputation both nationally and internationally.
The diverse contemporary ballet repertoire is primarily divided into two main categories: one group includes story-driven ballets—referred to as dance-novels or dance-narratives—and the other group features non-narrative, one-act ballets, which could be likened to dance-poems in literary terms.
The program, rich in experiences and values, caters to all age groups, with a special focus on reaching the younger generation. This year, the new addition is the family ballet Pinocchio, with the most popular show being The Nutcracker, performed every December.
