Statue of Aunt Kati
The bronze statue immortalizing a characteristic figure of Székesfehérvár's former market was created in 2001 by restorer and sculptor Balázs Kocsis. The life-size statue depicts an elderly market vendor pushing her cart filled with goods partially covered by a cloth, hinting at local delicacies like the famous duck meat. According to locals, rubbing Aunt Kati’s nose brings good luck.
This unique statue also serves as the starting point for the city's annual Catherine’s Day celebrations on November 25.
