Országalma (The Orb)
The Országalma, the most iconic symbol of our city, is a red marble decorative fountain and statue commemorating the free royal city status granted to Székesfehérvár by King St Stephen, the founder of the Hungarian state.
The Országalma is surrounded by landmark buildings defining the city's historic atmosphere, including the Bishop's Palace, the Székesfehérvár Diocesan Museum, and the City Hall.
During the summer months, the sightseeing mini-train departs from Városház tér (City Hall Square), near the Országalma.
