The Military Memorial Park in Pákozd, located at the National Memorial Site of the Battle of Pákozd–Sukoró (29 September 1848), was established in 1951 on Mészeg Hill and later expanded with EU funding.
The purpose of the memorial park is to present the history of the Hungarian Defense Forces established in 1848, the main military events of the past 170 years, and to commemorate the known and unknown military heroes of these eras. Children and adults alike can enjoy interactive exhibitions, military obstacle courses, Raptor laser combat, educational programs, presentations, and thematic events.
It isn’t only an excellent destination for history enthusiasts, but also a great touring spot for those seeking adventure, experience, and culture.
